Hi everyone,
In my effort to make antitrust law more accessible, I have begun publishing highly detailed case briefs. Each case brief is accompanied by a video lesson published on YouTube. The main website that will host the briefs is: https://casebriefs.lawandpower.net/
You can find the first brief, covering Lorain Journal Co. v. United States, 342 U.S. 143 (1951), here. The video lesson can be found here.
Additionally, to organize all of the information, I have created an Airtable database of all of the case briefs (linked here).
My goal is to publish at least one to two case briefs and videos a month; we will see if I can stick with that schedule. I am going to try my best.
Eventually, I will incorporate the information from these briefs into a freely accessible treatise. The treatise is currently under development and will be released once approximately 50 Supreme Court decisions have been incorporated into it.
As you will see, these case briefs are much more detailed than what you will find elsewhere. They aim to assist not only law students but also anyone seeking to understand antitrust law. Hopefully, my case briefs can help make this notoriously difficult subject matter more accessible to the public and easier to understand.
On a personal note, I would like to extend the biggest thank you I can to all my subscribers, including the very small handful of paid subscribers (don’t worry, I will be sending a personal thank you to all of you shortly). Without the vote of confidence from every single one of you, I would not even attempt this massive side project (which has already consumed several dozen of my evening hours). I look forward to continuing to provide the highest quality antitrust law content I can.
