Amazon Sees All. Amazon Knows All. The Corporation Must be Stopped.

Today, the Open Markets Institute (where I am employed), published a new report I authored detailing Amazon’s extensive consumer and competitor surveillance.

Amazon is truly one of the modern-day robber baron companies currently operating in the marketplace. The corporation truly knows no boundaries in its pursuit to monopolize markets, destroy dependent businesses, extract as much information as it can from its users, and (as a previous report I co-authored details) impose dangerous and onerous working conditions on its workers.

In this latest report, I detail the full extent of Amazon’s competitor and consumer surveillance operations and how they adversely impact the market, harm consumers, harm dependent companies, and entrench and expand Amazon’s dominant market position.
