Administrative Agencies are Under Attack from the Judiciary - They Should Be Saved
Hi everyone,
Perhaps one of the most misunderstood, underappreciated, and attacked aspects of government is the administrative state of the United States. Administrative agencies manage large swaths of the economy - there is practically no industry that isn't supervised by one. In my latest op-ed, published in Democracy Journal, I mount a robust defense of administrative agencies and detail why the broad attacks against them are not only based on dubious arguments but also anti-democratic.
As I explain in the article, agencies are a fundamental and essential part of the government, and the judiciary’s latest attacks on them are nothing more than a means to centralize and enhance their own power over every aspect of our lives. Congress must act to save them. You can read the article here.
